Cream City Futsal is excited to announce our upcoming tryouts for the 2025–2026 season! This is the first step in identifying, evaluating, and building competitive teams that will represent Cream City in local, regional, and national futsal competitions – including the US Youth Futsal National Championship Series.
2025/2026 Program Information
How Tryouts Will Be Conducted
- Age-based Groups: Players will be divided into groups based on their birth-year (boys and girls) to ensure fair and accurate evaluation. Group sizes will allow coaches to observe players in both individual and team scenarios.
- Skills Assessments: Coaches will evaluate core futsal skills including first touch, ball control under pressure, quick decision-making, passing accuracy, and shooting technique.
- Game Play: Small-sided games will be a major component of tryouts. These match situations allow coaches to see creativity, speed of play, positioning, and understanding of futsal tactics.
- Athleticism & Attitude: Beyond technical ability, we look for players who demonstrate hustle, teamwork, and a willingness to learn – key traits for success in the fast-paced futsal environment.
Team Formation
Following evaluations, we will extend offers to fill the rosters of our National and State teams:
- National Teams: Designed for our top-level players who will compete in the highest-level futsal tournaments, including USYF Nationals.
- State Teams: Competitive teams that focus on player growth and success in regional leagues and tournaments.
